Energy Innovation Summit
28-29 September 2022 | SEC Glasgow
Enabling a digital, decarbonised energy system
Check out the highlights
The Summit is without doubt a must attend event for people who manage, develop and implement innovation initiatives in the energy sector. It brings together lessons learned from over 60 UK innovation projects, demonstrates the value of innovation in every aspect of our energy systems, and helps drive action on the next generation of innovative projects across the sector.
Previously known as the Energy Networks Innovation Conference (ENIC), 2022's event was rebranded to The Summit as part of a new collaboration with BEIS, Innovate UK, Ofgem and Regen, opening the UK's leading energy innovation event up to wider industry as well as attracting new domestic and international delegates.
As well as sharing insights and experience, The Summit featured a new 'challenge track' with opportunity to develop proposals, pitch ideas and build partnerships to tackle the challenges facing the sector.

A Trees for Life Summit contribution
SEC made a contribution to Trees for Life on behalf of the Energy Innovation Summit 2022 - the equivalent of 8 trees!
Trees for Life aims to restore the wild forest of the Caledonian Forest, a globally unique habitat which has suffered from centuries of neglect and deforestation, but which once stretched from coast to coast. The SEC began supporting Trees for Life in 2007 and over the subsequent 9 years sponsored over 200 acres of wild forest which enabled the natural regeneration of 158,669 trees. Since 2016, a further 10,100 trees have been planted on behalf of the SEC’s conference delegates.
